At first, I thought this was kinda cool. Yet quite odd. But hey, the MLB said it. It's very hard for seasoned baseball players to get into the big leagues, so why would the Phillies make it so easy for any Tom Dick off the streets. They may actually be looking to fans to fill a spot, but for us, it's highly doubtful.
